GLSL Double Precision Angle, Trig, and Exponential Workaround

GLSL has rudimentary support for double-precision variables and operations, which can be found here . However, they also mention "Two-dimensional accuracy of angle, trigonometry and exponential function are not supported.".

Is there an easy way around the problem, or do I need to write my own functions from scratch?
