How to write exif data from json file to jpg image?

I backed up exif info with

exiftool -j -w json picture.jpg 

How can I now restore exif information to an image file from a json file?

Ok, found it. May be interesting to others, so I post it:

exiftool -json=picture.json picture.jpg

This writes exif data from picture.json to picture.jpg
