Sharing socket connections on multiple servers in Socket.io with Redis Store

Question

I know that room sharing clustercan be achieved using the Redis store, however, can I share rooms the same way on multiple servers? So say I'm adding a socket user to a room on server 1, can I send a broadcast message to this room from server 2, assuming I connected to the same Redis repository during the installation of socket.io?

Now I use message queues to send messages to rooms, separate from each server, and each server has its own Redis store. So will there be access to the repository, as well as share numbers on multiple servers?
