Fix scrollbar to bottom

Question

I have a huuuuge table that spans 3x or 4x my window height. This requires a horizontal scrollbar, but it is always displayed at the bottom of the page. I want it to somehow seem fixed at the bottom of the window. Has anyone done something like this?

Am I forced to make a “fake scrollbar” with html that will dynamically manipulate the scroll position of a div?

In the absence of a violin, did you try to just make a div containing a set of 100% of the height and width of the window and the overflow for scrolling?
