Twilio: answer an incoming call, call forever

When a Twilio number receives an incoming voice call, which TwiML can I use to keep the phone ringing endlessly?

In certain circumstances, I want to pretend that the phone is ringing, but no one there can answer it and there is no voicemail. I thought averting a verb might help. It seems to only support busy signal or message with number "disabled".

Probably the easiest way to do this is to get the mp3 recording of the ringing phone, very long (you can find them by the search query) and set twilio to <Play>mp3 when someone calls it - I did it very convincingly.

Doing this will give you extra benefit by letting you keep track of who calls that number and how long they let him call (of course, you will get a bill for that).

You can use the verb Pauseto delay delay loading . By indicating a sufficiently long delay, the call effectively rings "forever." For example,
