JQuery UI Slider Handle the blue border when "focus'ed"

I am restyling a jQuery UI Slider widget by overriding the CSS classes provided by jQuery UI. I can't seem to get the blue frame that appears around the handle when I click on the handle to disappear.

It looks like this:

Any suggestions on how I can remove this using css?

This blue border is lame, firefox does not show it. Chrome adds a border to links. Since the button is a link, you see the border.
