Homebrew launch during virtual

A simple question : does homebrew work, but is virtualenv a bad idea?

If so, is there a way in which I can automatically deactivate virtualenv every time I run the homebrew command? I do not believe myself that I always remember to deactivate virtualenv or open a new terminal window.

I do not think that if they are connected. You must use pip to manage python packages when using virtualenv. this way you will ensure that your new material is in an isolated sandbox. AFAIK home-brew installs material worldwide. Therefore, it is better not to use it to get python modules. hope this helps.

Since I just stumbled upon this myself in the documentation , it is probably better not to getbrew install inside the active virtualenv at all. To quote from the above documents:

A WARNING. When you brew install formulas that provide Python bindings, you should not be in an active virtual environment.

virtualenv , , brew . Homebrew - Python Homebrew, - .

Virtualenv , "" (, ) - virtualenv.

, , , , Python, . , brew install , deactivate.
