I cannot open .EDMX files in Entity data model design

Question

I can’t find the ADO.NET Entity Data Model in Visual Studio 2012. When I open EDMX, it opens in XML, but not in the designer. When I try to add a new element to the project, I do not find ADO.NET in the "Data" tab.

I tried almost all the proposed solutions on the network, but failed:

• I uninstalled EF5 and installed EF 6.2, but the problem persists.
• I tried installing VS2012 Updates, but no changes.
• Restore the current installation without changes.
• I tried to find ADONETEntityFrameworkTools_enu.msion the installation media, but I can not find it. -

I tried all other solutions but did not work.
