How to remove a passenger separately?

I am creating a new development laptop and over the past few days have installed the following:

  • Ubuntu 11.04

  • Apache2

  • RVM

  • Ruby 1.9.2 under rvm

  • Ruby 1.8.7 under rvm

  • Passenger3 at 1.9.2@global

  • Passenger module for Apache using Ruby 1.9.2

  • Passenger3 at 1.8.7@global

I was going to set up some kind of reverse proxy for standalone Passenger using Ruby 1.8.7 when I accidentally typed in the Passenger’s beginning in a terminal window that didn’t point to 1.8.7@global.

The next thing I knew, the Passenger decided to install Nginx himself, not even “with you,” and now I have an additional Passenger installed somewhere on the machine on which I want to get rid, but I can’t find instructions for removing it .

Edit
