How to completely remove phusion passenger in Ubuntu 13.10, Apache2 combination?

I installed Phusion Passenger with the following commands

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 561F9B9CAC40B2F7
sudo apt-get install apt-transport-https ca-certificates

Then, for some reason, I tried to remove Phusion Passenger as follows, Firstly: I removed all Phusion Passenger configuration directives than: gem uninstall passenger

(results: gem "passenger" is not installed)

If I put a " passenger -v". He returns

Phusion Passenger version 4.0.37
"Phusion Passenger" is a trademark of Hongli Lai & Ninh Bui.

However, it is not completely removed. I do not know how to proceed further.

I want to completely remove Phusion Passenger and install a new copy. Please help me do this.

• apt-get remove passenger gave "passenger not installed"
• gem uninstall passenger gave "passenger not installed"
• passenger -v shows that it is installed
