How to insert text into Vim visual mode?

I work in vim and I would like to insert yanked text in Visual Mode. Is it possible?

The team palso works in visual mode (cp. :help v_p). However, the contents of the default register will be overwritten. (My ReplaceWithRegister plugin has an alternative command that stores it.)

Alternatively, you can seither creplace the visual selection and then use one of the insert mode commands, for example <C-R>{register}, to insert the contents of a register. To insert a default register you need to use "_sso as not to overwrite its contents.
