Elasticsearch not starting, gives erorr

Question

when I run the command to start elasticsearch ..

/elasticsearch -f

gives a bunch of mistakes like

ElasticSearchIllegalStateException [Failed to get the node lock, this is the next place to write: [/ home / anish / elasticsearch / data / elasticsearch]]

IOException [Failed to get lock in / home / anish / elasticsearch / data / elasticsearch / nodes / 49]

  IOException[Cannot create directory: /home/anish/elasticsearch/data/elasticsearch/nodes/49]

I don’t know how to get rid of it. help help
