Unicorn in Geroku? Why not in development?

Question

I just installed the unicorn gem and added the configuration file to config / unicorn.rb

I also added a Procfile file that looks like this:

web: bundle exec unicorn -p $PORT -c ./config/unicorn.rb

I am wondering why my localhost is not working in Unicorn even if I added this? Where does it say that it should just be running in Production?

If you don’t upload the gem unicornto yours GemFile, Rails will default toWebBrick

We use Thinin development, and here is our GemFile:

group :development do
    gem 'thin'
end

group :production do
    gem 'puma'
    gem 'newrelic_rpm'
end

: unicorn thin WEBrick ?
