AddFavorite JS does not work with chrome

I am developing a website with a bookmark function, I use this function window.external.AddFavorite(location.href,document.title);for chrome and IE, it works fine in IE, but it does not dose for Chrome, can anyone please me ... thanks in advance

Opera, Google Chrome, and Safari do not provide a way to add new items to your favorites (bookmarks) from JavaScript.

There is currently no way to programmatically add a bookmark to Chrome or any other modern browser, of course, other than IE.
