Do I need to reindex the MongoDB collection after some period of time, such as RDBMS

Question

I like to get some knowledge of MongoDB reindexing. Please forgive me as I ask some subjective questions.

Questin: Should MongoDB periodically be re-indexed, as we do for RDBMS, or Mongo automatically manages it.
