I just installed spyder and ipython versions for macports on my macbook pro running osx 10.8. There seems to be no way to open the ipython console from this version of spyder. That is, there is no mention of ipython in the Interpreters menu or in the settings.
Has anyone encountered this problem and could know how to fix it? Many thanks.
