Use Amazon RDS as a slave in mysql replication

I have one server running mysql, its virtual machine. I am currently setting up another mysql in Amazon RDS. Can I use this RDS database as a subordinate element of the VM database. Therefore, I want VM DB to be the replication master and the RDS database to be subordinate.

Is it possible? Or any other option?

Yes, it is possible, although that would not be the recommended setting.
