Why low level video using MPMoviePlayerController on iPhone

My application uses MPMoviePlayerController to record videos and play them. It works great on the iPad, but very few on the iPhone. I also tried setting up AVAudioSession and setting the path to the speaker, but this does not seem to help. How can i fix this? I am running iOS 7 devices
