Creating a new difference in the project between the application name and the module name

Android Studio 0.4.4

Hello,

I use Android Studio, and I'm just wondering what the difference is between the application name and the module name when creating a new project.

Do they need to be the same name?

Thanks so much for any suggestions,

In the New Project dialog box, there is help text below:

Application name: the application name is displayed in the Play store, as well as in the "Application Management" list in the settings.

Module Name: The name of this module is used only by the IDE. Usually it can match the name of the application.

They do not have to be the same.
