Optimal Object Size in Ceph Object Storage (RADOS)

Question

RADOS seems to be best suited for storage in Ceph Block Storage and the file system. But if I want to use the object store itself:

• Is there an optimal object size that gives the best performance?
• Is there a problem with a lot of small objects?
• How can they get large objects without problems?

It would be great if you could share your experience.
