I had the following problem: I created a portrait activity with a panoramic view of the camera, which is a landscape. Now I want the captured video to also be similar to the surface orientation - the landscape, and not to the orientation of the activity, which is a portrait.
The output video is always in the portrait no matter what I do (I added camera sources to my project, and I work with it)
So, finally, since I see that the built-in library of the camera accepts the orientation of the device, when it starts to shoot video, it creates the corresponding video. Does anyone know if I can get around it, maybe "trick" the device into thinking that it uses an accelerometer in landscape mode?
