The difference between subscribing to Facebook / Google / etc and logging in using Facebook / Google / etc.

I'm currently trying to connect to Facebook, Google and other third parties for my web application.

When I was browsing many web pages, I noticed that there are two options: use the Facebook option, for example: Register on Facebook and register on Facebook.

From what I could say, both of them do the same, if you do not have a user in your database with an email received from Facebook, the application creates it and writes it to a new account. The same can be said for Google login / registration.

What is the difference between "Log in with x" and "Register with x"?

"Sign in to Facebook" means you already have an account.

“Sign up with Facebook” means that you create a new account.

You may have the same button for both, if perhaps registration does not require more information than just the name and email address (which Facebook will provide you with).
