I figured it out myself. Here's what you need to do:
- buy your domain,
example.com - go to your Amazon S3 console and create a bucket named
example.com - add your
index.htmlfile to it and grant read permissions - enable static website hosting for the bucket using
example.comin the box - go to the routing part of the R5 console and add a set of records
Type A(IPV4) Select "Yes for an alias" and select the endpoint from the drop-down list, it will be something like
example.com..s3-site-us-west 2.amazonaws.com
Click Create
