Eclipse: javac: target version 1.6 conflicts with default source version 1.7

I am trying to build on Eclipse Kepler, but when I do this I get the following error javac: target release 1.6 conflicts with default source release 1.7

I changed the Java compiler to use 1.6, but this warned me that the standard JRE is 1.7. Then I went to Installed JREs, uninstalled 1.7 and created a new one for 1.6.

This still gives the sames error. I also saw something about adding -vm and the java path to eclipse.ini, but that didn't help either.

Does anyone know what to do?

You can check the settings of the project compiler or workspace and make sure that the source and target versions of Java are the same:

  • ""
  • " Java" .
  • " " , " ..."
  • , - 1.6, ,

javac : jdk7 javac java7 - java6
