SQL: LIKE and contains - different results

Question

I use the SQL function SQL Express SQL Containsto select data. However, when I selected the data using the LIKE operator, I realized that the function contains several lines.

Recovered indexes, but this did not help.

Sql: brs.SearchText like '%aprilis%'andCONTAINS(brs.SearchText, '*aprilis*')

The function Containsskipped lines, such as:

22-28.aprīlis
[1.aprīlis]
Sīraprīlis

PS. If I search directly CONTAINS(brs.SearchText, '*22-28.aprīlis*'), he will find them
