I am trying to switch my application to using fragments of a dialog box, but when the screen crashes when a dialog box appears, the application crashes. I can reproduce this in a very simple application, described below. Create a new project in Android studio and add DialogFragment as follows:

Now run the application, and after the dialog box appears (1 second after loading), rotate the screen. Note that I am only creating a dialog on the initial onCreate above.
