P4V does not sync all files / folders

I am new to P4V, so I apologize if this is obvious, but I can not understand the solution to my problem.

I have a depot with which I connected, and navigate to the folder in which I want to get the latest version. Great, not a problem yet.

I right-click the folder and select "Get Latest Version." Moreover, this is not so. It captures only some files from a folder.

Fine So I right-click on the folder, select "Get revision", select the radio for "Get the latest version" and check the box "Force operation". Nothing, the same behavior, the same files are missing. I tried running P4V in administrator mode. The same behavior.

An employee suggests that I enter the workspace and manually exclude and then include the missing folders / files. The same behavior. He also suggests trying to return to the initial fix of the missing folders / files, and then upgrade to the latest version. Same behavior, I can only get the same files every time.

Ok, so time for a more extreme solution. I reboot and use p4 sync ... # none on the command line to remove everything. Somehow, dozens of files throw a warning that they are being used, although I just rebooted. I don’t know how this is possible, so I go to the folder through Explorer and delete them all manually. I right-click the folder and select "Get Latest Version" ... and nothing.

This is ... disappointment. It should be pretty simple - I just want the entire contents of one folder, no frills. Even more confusing is that I had these files before, and when I did "Get Latest Version", they were deleted. Employees can easily download all the files in this folder - this is just a problem for me. This implies that there is an option / setting that I have that to mess with things. However, given that I just installed P4V for the first time, I know that I have not mixed up with any of the parameters, and I do not know which of them need to be changed to make this work.

Thanks for reading and in advance for any advice.
