You can create global definitions by placing them in smcs.rsp, and when you click on the game, you will notice that those parts of the code hit, and everything acts as if it should be.
However, when editing a source in MonoDevelop, it does not recognize the constants set in this file. Leaving you with text that looks like this:

This makes it difficult to keep track of the current values of constants and requires intelligent tracking of what is turned on and off, despite the fact that the editor constantly tells you about it.
Is it possible to get monodevelop to respect this file?
