Download Blueimp file: remove the file from the file list before downloading

Question

How to remove a file from the list of selected files in Blueimp plugins before submitting the upload form. I tried this SO answer but just deleted the file from the user interface and not from the queue.

here, when I press h6, the thumbnail is removed from ui just not from the ifles list
