I am thinking of using the VMWare Vix API to manage VmWare operations. I check the documentation, but all scripts use password variables in plain text.
I am not sure about this, and I want to hash or protect this password without then having in plain text
Any ideas?
Since vmrun is a command line utility for the VIX API, it requires a simple text password. And your password will be displayed in the Console application.
