InnoSetup creates two identical folders

I want to host the game in: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ test \ Gone Home \, but InnoSetup creates the following directory: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ test \ Gone Home \ Gone Home

Because of this, my icon does not work.

When I use "add files, add folder, add directories", I get the same result. I am using Inno Script Studio.

You have a specific Dafault folder (in the {app} code) on DefaultDirName={pf}\{#AppPublisher}\{#AppName} , where {#AppName} is Gone Home , but later you will set DestDir to {app}\Gone Home .

You should install DestDir only {app} , which will be C:\Program Files (x86)\test\Gone Home in your case.

As for the individual ICO file, you just add something like IconFileName: "{app}\MySpecialAppIcon.ico" - you should indicate your icon there.

You also do not need to write one line for each file that you want to copy. You can use the wildcard * along with the reateallsubdirs recursesubdirs flags. This will copy all files and directories to the destination directory.
