How to create an emulator for the new Nexus 7 2 in eclipse

Google just launched the Nexus 7-2 with a resolution of 1200x1920 and other features. Now I want to test the application for Android, but I do not have a device for testing. so kindly let me know how to create an emulator for the new nexus 7 in eclipse using AVD Manger.

I updated the sdk tool and the platform to the latest version and was able to see the old connection 7 (800x1280 res) in the avd manager.

Create a new AVD device.

  • In the Android Virtual Device Manager, select "Device Definitions" at the top.
  • Select "New device ..."
  • Name it: "Nexus 7 2" or "Nexus 7 (2013)" or whatever you like.

Nexus 7 2 (2013) Settings:

  • Screen Size ( 7.02 ): 7.02
  • Resolution (px): 1920 x 1200
  • Sensors: Accelerometer Gyroscope GPS Proximity Sensor
  • Cameras: Front Rear
  • Entrance: No Nav
  • RAM: 2048 MiB

  • Size: large
  • Screen Ratio: long
  • Density: xhdip
  • Buttons: Software
  • Device Status: Portrait: Enabled Landscape: Enabled

Go to the Android virtual device manager → select "Device Definitions →" in which select the third one which is NEXUS 7s, create avd. Then avd is created.

But you are here, you will receive 800x1280. I think that someday devices will fall there, adding a device that is possible.
