Standard rally reports with black background

Question

I use standard reports to show iteration burning and to release burning. The API inserts the image that it generates on the page using javascript.

I would like to place them on the control panel monitor in my office, but there is a black background in the current color theme.

I need charts with a black background. I see several options:

• Get API for creating diagrams (possibly an undocumented function)
• Make some HTML based color swap
• Get basic data and create your own schedule

Is any of the above possible?

Currently, the diagrams are images created by the server, so, as far as I know, there is no way to transfer a parameter that controls the background color, or change it after loading it.

Soon, however, we will add new charting capabilities based on the new Apache Analytics 2.0. They will be displayed on the client side and very customizable and should be able to do what you describe.

In the meantime, you should be able to retrieve data that supports these diagrams through the WSAPI.
