Reading from internal memory in Windows Phone 8?

Is there a way to access the internal file storage in Windows Phone 8? I noticed that there is a way to read files from the SD card http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsphone/develop/microsoft.phone.storage(v=vs.105).aspx , but what about phones that do not have an SD card slot, like the Nokia Lumia 920?

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by internal storage, but there are a few places that you can access on your device.

Application data (previously isolated storage)

This is the place for bread and butter to access the application. This is your own personal repository for storing settings or files that you may have.

You can access it using

StorageFolder localRoot = ApplicationData.Current.LocalFolder:

Libraries

These are common places where applications can store and access multimedia data. Accessing them requires declaring capabilities for the area you are accessing and file associations for the files you would like to see.

For example, to get the camera change folder, you need the following:

KnownFolders has access to all of the various locations that you can obtain from internal use. However, carefully, in some places Windows or Phone are indicated, but they are all documented, so you know what exactly.
