Eclipse does not recognize my Android phone - says unknown

I am using ADT eclipse for Android development. I connected my phone and then eclipsed. Then, when I start the android project, I get a window asking how you want to start it. I see that my phone is listed there, but does not recognize its target version.

As a result, I cannot run it on my phone. This happens sometimes earlier, and now more often than usual.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Yes, this is strange, but you know how phones have โ€œmediaโ€ and โ€œcameraโ€ modes, etc., change it to โ€œmediaโ€, if I remember correctly, or โ€œcameraโ€ is something along this line ! It was my old phone, sorry, but it solved it!

His camera did what works. I tried this for google nexus 4 and turned it into camera mode, which worked for me. Here is the way you can find the settings for nexus mobile phones: Settings> Device> Storage> Menu> Connect a USB computer

For others who are still having trouble checking the connection mode, try these suggested solutions in that order until you work:

  • Check if USB debugging is enabled. Try turning it off and on again. Can't find this option? Settings> Developer Options> USB Debugging. Can't find developer options? Settings> About phone> Touch 7 times in the Build Number field
  • Try using a different cable (some users have experienced the ability to charge but not transmit data or charge a fee and transmit data but ADTs are not recognized).
  • Reboot phone
  • Reboot the computer.
  • Check the USB driver, especially if you are using Windows or Linux. On Windows, install the Google USB driver from sdk-manager, then: Device Manager> Find and right-click (usually in the "Portable Devices" section)> Update software driver> Browse my computer for driver software> adt-folder-location / sdk / additional / Google / USB drivers. For more information, read http://developer.android.com/tools/device.html#setting-up . ("Setting up the device for development").
  • Download and use a separate ADT
  • Try using Android Studio
  • Try to find and use the old ADT
  • Try using a different computer.
  • Wait for the next ADT update and cry softly ...
