Google Play Services Not Authentic on Glass

I am trying to get the current location of the user on the glass.

The mLocationClient.connect() call ends without any permission. Then I checked if Google Play Services is available on the device:

 GooglePlayServicesUtil.isGooglePlayServicesAvailable(this);

This returns ConnectionResult.SERVICE_INVALID , which according to the documentation means that "the version of Google Play services installed on this device is not genuine."

The Customize Guide for the Google Play Services SDK does not describe this scenario.

Does this seem to be a mistake of the glass itself? If so, I will write an error report.

Google Play services are not currently available on Glass. You may have unpredictable results if you try to use it or its related functions.

If this bothers you, let Google know. Ask the tracker about problems with glass platforms and, if possible, describe your use case that you need. This helps Glass teams prioritize.
