Sign in to Google Plus: exclusion from Google Play Services

I am trying to integrate Google Plus Login into my Android app. When I tried to run this application in the Google Android emulator, I get a dialog box asking me to update the Google Play Services. When I click the Update button, nothing happens, and I see the following error in logcat:

Can't redirect to app settings for Google Play services

I also get the following warning in logcat:

Google Play services out of date. Requires 3225100 but found 3158130

I would also like to add that I updated Google Play Services from version 8 to version 10.

Can someone tell me how to update Google Play services on an emulator?

I know that there are many questions on this topic in Stack Overflow, but nothing works for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also face the same problem ... I worked about 2 weeks ago (I had to format it, and now I am very upset), after Chetn’s answer: Deprecated Google Play services. Required 3159100, but found 3158130

I tried downgrading Google Play services by replacing rev. 10 for 9 (version 9 was the version in which I set the time when I earned it - found it here: http://venomvendor.blogspot.co.il/2012/03/android-sdk-extras-by-google- inc.html ) but, still there are no answers how to make it work! I don’t understand why this question was rated ...

EDIT: So, after trying almost the whole day, I solved my problem (and maybe yours). There are several steps to take care of this:

1) Follow Chetna's answer here (2nd answer): Deprecated Google Play services. It takes 3159100, but found 3158130 (2 answers), gms and vending files are the most modern I know of.

If you do not understand what to do in step 1 => 1.1) Follow the link above and download com.android.vending-20130716.apk and com.google.android.gms-20130716.apk. 1.2) Go to android \ sdk \ platform-tools and put these two files in a folder 1.3) Create an AVD using android 4.2.2 (or version below) without google api and run it, then wait for it to load until there is nothing more load ... 1.4) I have only windows, so I use only this method: open a command prompt window (cmd) in this folder and execute:

adb install com.android.vending-20130716.apk and adb install com.google.android.gms-20130716.apk

Both of these commands will take some time and respond with a success or failure message (both responses must be successful).

1.5) Disable AVD.

2) Just for the sake of this, downgrade your Google Play services to version 9 (to remove this folder from sdk or delete the android \ sdk \ extras \ google \ google_play_services folder http://www.mediafire.com/download/bqs2kmza5vn8e04/google_play_services_9.7z - link from venomvendor.blogspot)

3) Import the file android \ sdk \ extras \ google \ google_play_services \ libproject \ google-play-services_lib and copy it to the workspace, add it to your project via properties> add (in the library menu)

4) Go to project> clean> clear all projects (this trick did for me)

It worked for me, hope it works for you too! Greetings
