OpenGL is deeply integrated into MacOS X, so itβs almost impossible to update or change the OpenGL driver without actually updating the OS. Technically, you can compile Mesa software rendering, but its performance is not very large; there is also no replacement for NSOpenGLView for Mesa, so anything related to using this would be very hacky.
What equipment are you trying to run? Is it a real MacBook or are you trying to run Hackintosh, i.e. MacOS X on a non-Apple HW?
