Getting time from ASP.Net Webservice

I have an ASP.Net web service. About 150 client applications constantly get into the web service every 1 minute.

In this scenario, some of them receive a service, and some of them constantly receive an exception. it is a data service between a client and a service.

A sent request is pending after 00: 09: 59,9531343. Increase the timeout value sent to the Request or increase the SendTimeout value for the bind. The time allotted for this operation may have been part of a longer timeout.

I did not increase the time on the client side.

Getting time from ASP.Net Webservice

You get this error because the data that was transmitted over the wire is larger than what it can process at the specified time.

The obvious solution is to increase the timeout. But not recommended as a direct solution .

First, do you need to check how much data you are trying to transfer? Does your customer really need all this data? Secondly, will your client wait 10 minutes for your call?

In most cases, the answer will be NO , so you should consider using paging and sending data to pieces. If this is not suitable, carefully adjust your data for the immediate needs of the user.

Before sending, you can use some kind of zipping and unzip when receiving (if you are a user of your application)
