I am developing an application that will essentially be a kiosk application (I will use the functions of the Windows 8.1 kiosk to lock the device).
Thus, the computer will always be turned on and will always be logged into the account with this application.
However, part of the process is that I need to authenticate users. They will log in with a username and password, select a few things, and then click βFinishβ to log them out and return the application back to the login screen.
How can i do this? System.DirectoryServices not available for Windows Store applications. I looked at other ways to authenticate with LDAP and Active Directory Web Services that look promising (and will be supported). But I do not see how I can use it for authentication (except that it authenticates it, the caller, but I can not force myself to work with him).
