WebRupee not working

On my website, I used the new rupee sign to indicate rupees. Below is my code:

As a script, I used " http://cdn.webrupee.com/js , and I also used the following:

<span class="WebRupee">Rs.</span> 116,754.00

Like CSS, I used ..

 <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://cdn.webrupee.com/font">

It worked fine ... but over the past few days it has not worked. It even seems that the website is no longer available. I cannot indicate rupees as a symbol.

Is there any replacement for displaying a character? Any idea would be appreciated.

You can use this code for the new Rupee symbol: &#8377;

He does the following: ₹

The older Rupee symbol is also available using the same technique, but with a different code: &#8360;

He does the following: ₨

No special stylesheet is required, but your page will need to use the UTF-8 character set. I tried the address you provided for the stylesheet and gave error 404. This site may not be available.

You can download the full working CSS using fonts here:

To ensure maximum compatibility, I think you should use FontAwesome. To use FontAwesome, simply add the following cdn in your chapter section for free.

 <link href="//maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.2.0/css/font-awesome.min.css" rel="stylesheet">

Now all you have to do is add this for the rupee symbol

 <span class="fa fa-inr"></span>

The code above will give you the rupee symbol. And since FontAwesome has a lot of interesting icons that you can use for your site.

For more information you can visit the site http://fontawesome.io/icons/#currency
