Using the literal $ in the GNUMakefile path

I have //here/is$/my/file (note $) as the location of the file, and in the GNUmake file I specify

 OutputFile = //here/is$/my/file 

The problem is that I need to somehow avoid $. I tried \ $ without success.

Does anyone know how to do this?

 OutputFile = //here/is$$/my/file
