Assign EDT (Swing Thread) to a specific processor core

For a real-time Java application with constantly updating user interface changes, the EDT may be starving for other business-related workflows. Is there a way in a multi-core processor to designate a specific core for processing all swing-related material, leaving the remaining processor cores for processing business processes?
