How to prevent Firefox tab overflow (even one click)

Seriously, is there a way to tell Firefox NOT to reload tabs after launch?

I know that I can check "Do not load tabs until it is selected" in the "Options" window, but this will only stop reloading the tabs automatically and still reload the tab that I click on - I DO NOT want this!

I want to reload each tab myself.

The reason is that sometimes I have several tabs with the text area of โ€‹โ€‹the SQL administrators commands, which is cleared upon reboot. You probably get how happy I am every time I have to remind teams.

I tried a google search for any extensions or options: config, but don't do anything what I want. Am I the only one who wants this?

I posted an error here https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=900494

I do not think that it is possible to disable the loading of clicked tabs. But you can try, for example, the Work Offline addon , which makes it easy to switch Firefox offline. Firefox loads a clickable tab from its cache offline and can save your text fields.
