Maven version ignores includeList

Question

When launching versions: use-latest-versions seems to ignore my includeList specified on the command line and tries to update all options.

mvn versions:use-latest-versions -DincludesList=com.mycompay.common:\* -DexcludeReactor=false -DallowSnapshots=true -DallowMinorUpdates=true 

Everything I can find in the documentation makes me believe that specifying inclusion implies the exclusion of everything else. Did I misunderstand this?

The includes not includesList parameter, so try the following: (according to the doc here )

 mvn versions:use-latest-versions -Dincludes=com.mycompay.common:* -DexcludeReactor=false -DallowSnapshots=true -DallowMinorUpdates=true
