It seems like there is a problem with your servers, one of which prevents others from talking.

  • Make sure you can connect to the target server from the source server.
  • If not, make sure that the security group of the target server has an inbound rule that allows access to ssh - see this link for more information.
  • Verify that the destination server does not contain a firewall that blocks the incoming connection.
  • Confirm syslog on both servers and make sure everything is fine.
