Dia graphic curly braces drawing program

Question

Other than (1) using bezier curves or (2) using keyboard curly braces and increasing the font, is there a way to draw curly braces in Dia, and if so, what is it?

The reason for not using the two above is because the bezier curve brackets do not look very polished and cannot be scaled up and down, and the keyboard curly brace has a line width that is too thick when it expands.

I am trying to show process aggregations in a flowchart.

The appropriate solution is NOT curly braces, but to insert square brackets in Dia, you can use the SDL shape collection. The item is called Comment. Use Properties> Flip Horizontal for the closing brace.

For some reason, the parenthesis text is placed inside, but the attachment point supports text fields attached on the outside.
