Sonar Periodic Email

Question

Is it possible for Sonar to send periodic (or rather, weekly) reports by email? I need it to be parsed as there are new builds, but only reports weekly. I am currently running sonar as a jenkins plugin to analyze if there is a new assembly.

I’m not sure if this is the report you want to use, but that’s how we used to test the report before looking at a commercial publication with email function. We use the Sonar PDF plugin: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/SONAR/PDF+Plugin

This creates a report on indicators, irregularities, other details, and then puts them in a pdf, which is created after sonar analysis. This pdf file is located on a static link, such as: SonarServer: 9000 / api / plugins / Pdfreport / getReport? Resource = 3955 Then you can use Jenkins to send weekly, two weekly, monthly, etc. Email with this link. A workaround is to eliminate metrics less frequently.

We use it too, but a little differently. This should be ideal for you with an automated task that handles it separately.
