Install jQuery JSDT plugin in Eclipse Kepler 4.3

I downloaded Eclipse Kepler 4.3 from the official site in here .

And the PDT plugin has been successfully installed ( Eclipse -> Help -> Install new software ).

Problem:

I need to install jQuery JSDT plugin.

I tried:

 Help -> Eclipse MarketPlace -> JSDT jQuery (Install) 

But get me the following error:

No repository found at https://svn.codespot.com/a/eclipselabs.org/jsdt-jquery/updatesite

Method 1:

  • Run eclipse
  • Help → Install New Software
  • Copy this link address and paste it into the Work with section and press Enter
  • After a few seconds, the JSDT jQuery icon will appear.
  • Mark the JSDT jQuery and click the next button and then again.
  • Accept the license agreement and click Finish.
  • Restart eclipse

Method 2:

  1. Download and install an SVN client, such as TortoiseSVN

  2. Import repository . Paste this URL https://svn.codespot.com/a/eclipselabs.org/jsdt-jquery/updatesite into the URL of the repository field.

  3. Then click OK .

Thereafter:

  • Launch Eclipse Kepler
  • Help → Install new software → Add → Archive
  • Select the downloaded zip file and enter a name.
  • Click OK.
  • Check the JSDT Plugin box and click Next .
  • Accept the license and click Confirm.
  • Restart Eclipse

To install the jQuery JSDT plugin, follow these steps:

  • Launch Eclipse Kepler
  • From the top toolbar, select Help → Install New Software.
  • In the field labeled "Work with: copy and paste https://svn.codespot.com/a/eclipselabs.org/jsdt-jquery/updatesite and press enter.
  • Check out the JSDT jQuery and click Next.
  • In the Installation Details dialog box, select Next.
  • Accept the license agreement and select "Finish"
  • Select Yes to restart Eclipse.

I prefer to use the Eclipse Marketplace, then you can also get updates for the plugin.

  • Run eclipse
  • Help → Eclipse Marketplace
  • Search for "jQuery"
  • Select JSDT jQuery 1.7.0 (or a newer version when it appears)
  • Select Install
  • Confirm the selected functions (make sure they are selected and click "Confirm")
  • Accept the license and click Confirm
  • Restart Eclipse

To install the latest version of JSDT JQuery, the plesae plugin allows a proxy server on your PC, and then open eclipse from the toolbar, select "Help" → "Install new software" and click the "Add" button, copy and paste this https: // svn.codespot.com/a/eclipselabs.org/jsdt-jquery/updatesite

Next, click all and click next to it.
