Dynamics CRM 2011 - How to send an email with an external link to a workflow

I am trying to send an email using an external link using the microsoft crm online 2011 workflow for gmail or hotmail, but the link does not work. I tried using "HyperLink" and the url in the body of the message, but any of them worked. When I used HyperLink, no link was added to the "href" property for "a". And, when I used plain text, the link was not added. Can someone help me? Thanks.

I think this may be a limitation of the Microsoft Exchange server, which works for MS CRM Online. This is similar to a security restriction, protection against fishing, not allowing people to send spam on behalf of the Microsoft CRM instance.
